MEEPA is a volunteer run professional association of individuals and corporations working towards employment equity, diversity and inclusion. MEEPA promotes awareness and shares information and resources, through on-going learning sessions, and professional networking.
A look back…
Following the passage of the federal Employment Equity Act in 1986, MEEPA was formed by a consortium of public sector employers to support one another in the implementation of the Act.Over the years, as workplace mandates have evolved to embrace the changing definitions of inclusion, members now come from both public and private sectors, community organizations and unions. MEEPA has an elected core group guiding the organization.
